The shape is like a certain American-made tote bag with leather handles.
The body is made of No. 4 canvas, which weighs 20.8 ounces, and is probably thicker than the original.

This time, instead of using a seam allowance on the sides, I'll deliberately sew them while they're folded in opposite directions.
This creates a state where it's as if there are bones in the sides, so it stands up even when nothing is inside.

At least for the bottom, I used 6-ounce canvas for the sample to reduce the thickness.

However, after seeing the factory and thinking "I think I can do this," I got greedy and used size 4 for the bottom as well. Realizing it would be too much work to sew, I plan to only make the body (size 4) x bottom (size 4) combination for the first batch.

The tape is from a tape shop in Osaka. I found the manufacturer who makes the thick tape while I was making bags before. They don't have colored tape in stock, so I had them dye it for me as a special order.

The handles are made of domestically produced saddle leather, secured with stitching and rivets. The outer pockets are on both the front and back.
