Small but with an outstanding presence!
The "Deluxe Tote, Mini" from WORKERS has arrived.
It is a cute, mini version of the Deluxe Tote we introduced previously.
This time, we have prepared three colorways: Dark Navy × Green, Red × Navy, and Green × Navy.
These color combinations have a certain atmosphere reminiscent of old American tote bags.
The inspiration for this project came when the WORKERS designer heard from an acquaintance that "office workers often carry small bags that only hold their phone and wallet when going out for lunch."
Come to think of it, vintage shops used to casually have small tote bags with color schemes like this...
However, when looking for them now, vintage pieces fetch surprisingly high prices.
So, we decided to just make them ourselves! And thus, this Deluxe Tote, Mini was born.
The dimensions are approximately 18cm wide at the base, 13cm deep, and 16cm high.
The opening is about 25cm wide when laid flat.
It’s the perfect size to hold essentials for a quick outing, like a long wallet, smartphone, and keys.
The body is made of approx. 19.1oz No. 6 canvas, while the handles use approx. 10oz No. 11 canvas.
Even though it’s small, it’s made of heavy-duty canvas.
The color-blocked base and the design where the handles extend all the way down to the bottom are quintessential features of a classic tote bag.
Despite being compact, it is so sturdily built that it stands up on its own even when empty.
Take it to lunch with just your wallet and smartphone.
Take it along for a stroll.
Or, it works great as a sub-bag to carry alongside a larger one.
Beyond its practicality, the cuteness of its size and color combinations alone makes you want to have one.
It’s a little Deluxe Tote from WORKERS that offers a different kind of joy than a large bag!

Even a small tote bag has its vintage-inspired reasons.
This Deluxe Tote, Mini charms with its color schemes and sizing that evoke old American tote bags.
Many canvas totes of the past weren't just fashion items like they are today; they were created as practical tools for carrying goods and luggage.
That is why they used durable canvas and kept the construction as simple as possible.
There is also a unique interest in seeing these color transitions as designs born out of practical construction.
For this mini version, we used No. 6 canvas for the body and No. 11 canvas for the handles.
In canvas "numbers" (gou-su), the smaller the number, the thicker the fabric generally is.
In other words, No. 6 canvas is a very substantial fabric.
Even for a small bag, we prioritize the durability needed for it to function as a tool.
Additionally, we used an overlock stitch for the edge finishing on the sides of the bag.
This is a detail also found on the vintage originals.
In the previously introduced WORKERS TOOL BAG, we created the bag's structure by folding and sewing the fabric edges, but this mini version stands up on its own thanks to the inherent stiffness of the fabric itself.
We adapt our construction methods to match the size and structure of each canvas bag.
Enjoying a vintage atmosphere while being able to use it casually in your daily life.
That kind of WORKERS-style craftsmanship is packed into this little bag.

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.
Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.
Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.
Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.
For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
