Officially known as "TROUSERS, MEN’S, COTTON, SATEEN," commonly called "Baker Pants."
The pattern was created by deconstructing and tracing the original MIL-T-838D (1958). The hem width is 24 cm. It has a relaxed silhouette with wide thighs and a deep rise.
Airy in summer and not tight when wearing leggings underneath in winter.
While back satin is about 10 oz., poplin is about 6.2 oz. We created these baker pants with this poplin thickness, thinking they would be perfect for midsummer after wearing jungle fatigues while mowing grass. However, the fabric thickness is different from back satin, so the same sewing method doesn't work well. We made minor adjustments, such as using a single stitch for the waist lining.
The product has been pre-washed.

These are even lighter Baker Pants than regular 10oz Baker Pants.
The puckering unique to thin fabric can be seen everywhere, and personally, I find it quite nice.
Although thin, the fabric is tightly woven, giving it a solid feel.
