The Pukara Sweatshirt, which was released as a standard sweatshirt at the UES until 2023, has now been renewed.
The No. 16 face thread is a hybrid of Desi cotton and organic cotton from Uganda in a 7:3 ratio. The Desi cotton gives it a unique wool-like dry touch.
The organic cotton that is mixed with it is from Uganda, as it is determined to be compatible with Desi cotton.
Because it is based on raw cotton that is hand-picked, there is the issue of different raw yarns coming through, but this combination produces the most bulky and wool-like texture.
Another feature is that the backing thread is made of brown cotton from Zimbabwe. Compared to the Pukara Sweatshirt, the Ugandan organic cotton is of higher quality and whiter, and the oatmeal and heather gray colors are slightly different. It also feels a little softer to the touch, but the finish is almost the same as the Pukara Sweatshirt.
The navy color is close to black and gives a tight impression. The material is luxurious, but it is a so-called reverse weave specification, so it looks simple but is luxurious.
