TCB Jeans_Stay Gold Chino/41 Khaki

TCB Jeans' classic chino pants. The fabric is quite dense and firm, with a subtle luster. The slightly rough, dry texture of the cotton gives it a good everyday feel. Recommended for those who prefer a slightly wider silhouette.

□Stitching
Inspired by vintage 41 Khaki, the pockets are 2mm wide double-welted with an open mouth.

The chain stitching on the waistband is done in one pass, which is an interesting detail that differs from civilian workwear.

There's a bit of extra fabric underneath the waistband stitching, making it float.
I interpret this as likely being a "marvelt" specification, a tailoring technique used in suit trousers to prevent shirts from riding up when tucked in.

This explains why they are officially called officer chinos.

*Most pockets sewn by TCB are for jeans. Welt pockets involve more parts and significantly more effort in the process. While there are machines that automatically sew all welt pockets, we do everything by hand to achieve a vintage-like look with slightly irregular openings. When I occasionally make different pants, it really hits home how jeans are designed to be easy and quick to sew.

□Fabric
This 10oz fabric is inspired by vintage 41 Khaki.
The warp is made from 38-count yarn doubled to approximately 19-count.
The weft is made from 20-count yarn doubled to approximately 10-count, woven at high density.
The cotton is US cotton.
Chino twill typically uses 20-count yarn for both warp and weft,
but TCB's fabric uses a warp that is 1 count heavier and a weft that is 10 counts heavier, suggesting a slightly heavier fabric. However, it is very supple and not at all stiff to wear.

□Label
Western Costume, a label sometimes found in vintage clothing stores, was used for movie costumes.
This time, inspired by the desire to bring back that era, we imagined TCB being chosen as a supplier for costumes at that time, and so we've created the "Eastern Costume" label for this product.

□Size
Compared to TCB's other pants, the waist inner circumference and rise dimensions are similar to the 30's Jeans C.

is recommended.
*Jeans stretch about 1-3 inches with wear, so the most accurate way to choose your size is to measure your waist's inner circumference and base your selection on that number.
