The design is based on the C-2 knit sweater used by the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF) during World War II in the 1940s.
The C-2 knit sweater was a military sweater issued primarily to pilots and aircrew members.
It is usually a crew neck with a front zipper, but this one has been adapted into a cardigan style.
The colouring is full of antique feel, and the knitting is needle-punched rib knit.
If you have a sweater that you can easily put on and take off over a chambray shirt or a cut-and-sew top, you'll be invincible.
It is labeled as brown, but it is a mix of brown leaning towards green.
