At our shop, we have been reissuing items produced by the legendary brand "GARDENER" that once existed. This time, however, we are introducing a completely new product that has never been released by "GARDENER" in terms of fabric, design, or specifications.
This is a modified sweatshirt that would be categorized among 1950s vintage sweatshirts, featuring two-tone colors, needle-out ribbing, pockets, a collar, and striped ribbing peeking out from the collar. It's a "fully loaded" design. In addition to the Pilgrim brand, which we referenced this time, other mail-order brands like Spiegel also produced similar sweatshirts, and they were called by various names.
One-up, Gaucho Style Jacket, Two-Tone Fleece Lined Sweat Shirt, Colorful Jacket...
Since we referenced a Pilgrim sweatshirt this time, we would like to name it "Gaucho Style Jacket" in the Pilgrim style, but I'm not sure why it's called Gaucho. lol
Perhaps it's derived from the idea of colorful layering? If anyone knows, please tell me.
Therefore, we have decided to call it the One-up Sweatshirt for clarity. It will be available in two colors: navy and gray.
You can close the neckline by hooking the loop on the collar to the button.
The most distinctive detail of this sweatshirt is the striped ribbing peeking out from the collar.
The back also features a distinctive look with its切り替え (switching/paneling) and collar.
Square patch pocket on the chest.
The sleeves and hem use needle-out ribbing and are triple-layered, achieving both softness and durability.

The fabric used is hanging loopwheeled fabric from Wakayama Prefecture. You will truly experience the quality of true loopwheel knitting! It is soft and fluffy, and it does not stiffen easily even after repeated washes, conforming to the wearer's body.

We are pleased to introduce our new product for the Autumn/Winter 2021 season. This time, it's a pullover made from Wakayama-produced hanging loopwheeled fabric. This unique item, accented with stripes and needle-out ribbing, is a reproduction of a Pilgrim model and a distinctive item from 1950s American casual wear.
We have carefully selected materials that allow you to enjoy the aging process, similar to jeans, and we hope you will cherish it for a long time.
