This product was inspired by traditional Dutch work shoes, called wooden clogs.
Based on a vintage Manson last.
The toes of this last are oblique in style, as they correspond to the shape of the foot.
This last was commonly used in the United States and Germany, and while clog shoes are made using a relatively simple method, the Van Gogh are made using the Goodyear method, typical of BROTHERBRIDGE, making them a pair of shoes that can be worn for a long time.
The shoes use well-cushioned insoles and soles, and the instep is designed to be low to improve the fit.
Please wear one size larger than you normally wear.
Although it is designed to be worn barefoot, we encourage you to style it with cute socks and pants.
This is tanned leather made using the "Vacchetta method," which is said to be the symbol of Ottocento.
Regular tanning uses only vegetable tannins, but the 'Vacchetta' method adds semi-solid beef tallow or fish oil.
This double shoulder bag is made from raw leather from France, Norway, and Denmark. You can enjoy watching it change over time.
