この総柄シャツは、1920 年代のアメリカ禁酒法時代に密かに営業していた「スピークイージー（秘密バー）」をテーマにデザインされています。禁酒法により酒類の販売や消費が厳しく制限されていた当時、人々は隠れ家のようなバーに集まり、ジャズやダンス、社交をひそかに楽しんでいました。シャツの総柄には、様々な酒瓶やカクテルグラス、パイプなど、スピークイージーを象徴するモチーフを散りばめています。色彩は落ち着きのあるヴィンテージトーンで統一し、軽やかでありながらも細部までこだわったプリントは、各色を重ねた手捺染で仕上げています。
This all-over print shirt is designed around the theme of the “speakeasy”—secret bars that operated clandestinely during America's Prohibition era of the 1920s. Back then, when the sale and consumption of alcohol were strictly restricted by Prohibition laws, people gathered in hidden bars to secretly enjoy jazz, dancing, and socializing. The shirt's all-over print features motifs symbolic of the speakeasy, such as various liquor bottles, cocktail glasses, and pipes. The color scheme is unified in subdued vintage tones, and the print, light yet meticulously detailed, is finished using hand-block printing with layered colors.
