This coverall was made by mixing various designs I've seen so far. It's called a "Railroad Jacket" in English.

The pocket design is by Carhartt.

While buying a lot of Workad magazines, I found a promotional book for farmers called "UNIVERSAL ACCOUNT BOOK." I used the pocket design on the final page of that book as a reference for the layout.

The cuffs feature a PAYDAY-branded facing on the outside and a luxurious design with three buttons. They are also sometimes called "gauntlet cuffs."

When I first saw this, I was like, "What is this?!" because it didn't have the facing on the inside like the coveralls I was used to. And it wasn't a PAYDAY coverall, but a Real McCoy's one.

Later, you come to realize that there were things like this in vintage clothing... We of my generation couldn't easily get to the originals right away. Oh-eiichi said, "Don't force yourself to say you listened to the Beatles or the Stones (when you were young)." Not everyone can come into contact with the original idea source from the beginning. For me, encountering replicas was just as important as encountering original vintage clothing.

The stitching is all white. This is also a deliberate choice, as with PAYDAY, where the facing and hem tend to sink into the fabric, we've made the stitching all white to make it more visible. The double-needle stitching, rather than triple stitching, is also a Carhartt-like feature.

The length is about 67 centimeters. Personally, I like around 73 centimeters, but Japanese people tend to be shorter than people from other countries. If it's 73 centimeters, many people will feel like it's "too long." So, this time I made it in a shorter length.

The above is reprinted from the WORKERS catalog.

The previous SUPER BIG CAT had a very old-school jacket design, and while its silhouette was irresistible to those who liked it, this one has a pattern that anyone will feel comfortable in.

This is a railroad jacket that retains its luxurious details while being easy to wear.

This is the brown duck version. It's not a super heavy-duty fabric, but rather a 10oz duck canvas. It has a very work-wear vibe.

Spiral's storefront is full of coveralls, so you might wonder, "What's the difference between them all?!" but they really are all completely different, so take your time, hesitate as much as you want, and enjoy the process.
