Lot 802 features a slightly narrower hem and a tapered silhouette, creating a modern, clean look.

The denim is made from American upland cotton for both warp and weft. We started with the simple idea that "when it comes to basic jeans, it should be denim woven from yarn made solely from American cotton!" but quickly found that a standard 100% American cotton yarn wasn't readily available. So, we decided to make the yarn ourselves! (Though it results in an enormous quantity).

Upland cotton is an extremely basic type of cotton. We import it to Japan, then scan the slub yarn shapes seen in vintage jeans to determine the yarn's form. We control the slub so it's not too strong.

The finished yarn undergoes rope dyeing. This is pure indigo dyeing without any pre-dyeing or post-dyeing. A distinctive characteristic of this color is its relatively low reddish tone and strong blueness.

Furthermore, the fabric is woven on a power loom with selvedge. By weaving at low tension, we achieve a soft texture, ensuring that the inherent character of the yarn, and even the cotton itself, is not lost. The finished fabric is raw denim, meaning it hasn't undergone sanforization or singeing to remove fuzz. It characteristically shrinks and twists when washed. However, before shipping, it is one-washed and tumble-dried to shrink it as much as possible.

There are two patterns: the straight Lot 801 and the slim tapered Lot 802. The hem width for about 10 centimeters from the bottom is the same, so even if you hem them up to about 30 inches in length, the hem width won't change. All stitching is done with cotton thread. For the side seams, the crotch seam (where the left and right body panels meet), the yoke, and the waistband attachment, thicker threads are used. This specification is designed to provide strength with cotton thread, and as a result, it creates the uneven texture of the selvedge and the strong puckering of the yoke. When creating the fabric and jeans from scratch this time, our focus was "being basic." To achieve a classic feel for the cotton, there are methods that involve blending non-American cottons from places like Peru or India. Even with indigo dyeing, there are ways to create different shades by pre-dyeing, but we opted not to do that, sticking instead to American cotton and pure indigo. As a result, the finished color has a strong blue tone, exactly as I envisioned. The process, from sourcing raw cotton to spinning the yarn, and then rope dyeing, weaving, and sewing, is introduced below.

They have ample room around the hips, and the hem is significantly narrower, making them ideal for customers who have larger hips or thighs due to sports and find that matching the waist results in a loose fit, or those who struggle to wear slim-fit clothing.

※Please note that these are quite slim from the knee down, so individuals with thicker calves should exercise caution.

Many of you might love this 802 silhouette, but unfortunately, it will be discontinued this time.

It's not due to lack of popularity; fabric production now has a three-year waiting list, and producing the 801 is already pushing their limits.

As this is the last shipment, we have prepared as many as possible, but once they're sold out, there won't be any more. *It might be possible if fabric production returns to normal, but that won't happen for the next three years.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
