We have decided to renew the S40’s Jacket, which we have been crafting for five years.

The mood at the time was to reference vintage pieces while offering "ease of wear" by making the length slightly shorter and the armholes a bit slimmer.

However, as time has passed and I have engaged more deeply with vintage pieces again, I have come to want to create an S40’s with the original silhouette.

In the new S40's, the length, body width, and sleeve angles are all identical to the vintage originals.

The fabric remains the same, so those who own the S40's Jeans can continue to wear them as a set.

Of course, there are those who liked the previous silhouette, and there are likely those saying, "I've been waiting for this!"

In baseball terms, a home run is a home run that anyone can recognize 100% of the time.

But one of the fun things about making clothes is that the boundary between a home run and a strikeout isn't always clear. That is precisely why we believe our raison d'être at TCB is to keep pitching what we consider to be the "perfect strike" to the best of our ability.

Back when we made the 50's Jeans in 2012, I wondered who would ever buy jeans made by an unknown brand like TCB, so I am very grateful that TCB is now receiving requests like this.

At the time, I felt a strong attraction to the perfection of vintage items like the 506XX and 507XX, but as we continued to reproduce various models, including those from the two L companies, I began to be drawn more strongly than before to the charm and historical background that dwell within the imperfection of "Simplified" models.

With this shift in my own perspective, we are releasing this after much deliberation.

The fabric is also a new 14oz reference, produced as TCB WW2, which is a custom-made fabric specifically for the S40's. Please see the photo section for details on the fabric and other specifications.

*The T-back specification applies to sizes 40 inches and up.

Since the length settings, etc., increase between sizes 38 and 40, we recommend checking the length if you are considering sizing up.

*The Red Tab specification has been changed, and it is currently finished in indigo dye.

Why is it that things that are cool remain cool over many years, regardless of trends? I believe the answer to that may lie within a simple denim jacket like this.

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation to ensure everyone can enjoy using our services comfortably.

No Forwarding Services

We do not ship to freight forwarding addresses.
