A few years ago, we custom-ordered fabric based on the brown hickory from a vintage Super Payday.

The biggest hurdle in creating that fabric was the reality of "minimums."

With regular denim, production is possible if you prepare the warp and weft threads for an economic lot. But brown hickory is different.

Brown thread and indigo thread.
Even for the warp alone, it's double the amount in a simple calculation.
The minimum quantity barrier also becomes commensurately higher.

To be honest, it was a challenge that required a bit of resolve.
However, last time, it wasn't enough in the end.

We received more requests for re-production
than we had imagined.
So this time, we decided to tackle this fabric once more.

We chose Cat Head as the base.

For 501-style items, there was always a certain taboo about expanding the fabric horizontally. But as I looked at store brand coveralls, the thought crossed my mind, "Perhaps denim and hickory were used interchangeably even back then." This allowed us to create an "excuse" (lol) for those who already own the previous brown hickory to pick up this one again. So, we're quietly launching this one again under the name Cat Head Brown Tabby Stripe.

So, the popular Cat Head Jacket is now available in Brown Tabby Stripe.

Spiral's storefront is packed with coveralls. Immediately after its release, I thought, "There's no way I can fit any more..." and didn't stock it, but thankfully, it's been slowly selling, and a little space opened up, so I quickly filled it with these coveralls, lol.

It's full again. Spiral's interior is dim with coveralls once more.

The fabric sold out in a flash last time, so I didn't even have time to examine it thoroughly, but the fading of the indigo and the base brown create a very good atmosphere, I think.

I'm also looking forward to how it will look after it's been worn in.
