This short-sleeve T-shirt is made from rare "loopwheeled jersey" proudly produced in Wakayama.

The fabric is made using old-style loopwheel knitting machines, of which only about 200 are currently operating in Wakayama. This method creates a plush texture and soft feel that cannot be achieved with modern high-speed knitting machines. By slowly knitting the yarn without putting undue stress on it, a thick cotton fabric with excellent elasticity and durability is achieved.

The design is a classic crew neck, inspired by 1960s undershirts. The neckline features a luxurious jacquard knit vintage neck, knitted one piece at a time, and the cuffs have prominent wide ribs. While simple, it evokes the atmosphere of vintage wear.

Skilled artisans employ 4-needle flat seam and 2-needle stitching for the construction. This minimizes bulk at the seams, ensuring comfortable wear, and meticulous finishing down to the smallest details.

The silhouette is a regular fit with a moderate amount of room in the body and sleeves. It's a versatile piece that makes a statement on its own and also works well as an inner layer.
