Single-sided vertical knit thermal adopted by the 40s military
From the 1940s to the 1960s, the US Navy ordered thermals from various manufacturers. Consequently, there are more than a dozen types of what are called military thermals. Common qualities include vertical knitting (both double and single-sided), manufacturing with flat seams or flat locks, and a crew neck. Although all use cotton, the material feel, sizes, and dimensions vary widely. Perhaps one of the values of thermals is that they are always manufactured with the same quality, size, and dimensions.

A single-sided thermal material with vertical knitting in a "honeycomb shape" manufactured in Wakayama. The vertical knit adopted by the US Navy in 1940 is known for its high air retention, and its thermal insulation value has become widely recognized. This original material has been densely (high-density) knitted to improve durability and thermal insulation.

DELUXEWARE's classic MILC-00 is a long-sleeve thermal based on the single-sided vertical knit thermal adopted by the US Navy in the 1940s.

The original honeycomb thermal fabric, knitted in Wakayama, easily retains air and offers excellent thermal insulation, while maintaining an exquisite balance that doesn't feel overly thick. It can be worn alone in early autumn or as an inner layer in winter, making it suitable for many seasons.

If thermals are too soft, stretching and losing shape can be a concern, while if they are too stiff, comfort and elasticity can be unsatisfactory. In this regard, the MILC-00 boasts an excellent balance of comfort, thermal insulation, and durability.

Another appeal is how it adapts to your body with repeated wear and washing, gradually developing a richer texture. It's a classic DELUXEWARE item that can be cherished for a long time, unaffected by trends.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
