THE H.W.DOG&CO. D-01211 “BIO TRUCKER CAP” is based on the brand’s classic D-00004 TRUCKER CAP.
The shape is the familiar DOG trucker cap, but what makes this version interesting is the fabric and finishing process.
It is made from 100% cotton whipcord that has been sulfur dyed.
After the cap is fully constructed, a bio-wash treatment is applied, creating natural variations in color not only across the fabric itself, but also around the seams and edges of the brim.
Rather than a perfectly uniform vintage finish, each cap develops its own slightly different character.
The front features the same classic embroidered logo as the regular TRUCKER CAP, while “THE H.W.DOG&CO.” is embroidered across the back.
A matching fabric strap and buckle at the rear allow the size to be adjusted.

What is a Bio-Wash?
Bio-washing is a finishing process that primarily uses enzymes to treat the surface of cotton fabric.
Enzymes that act on cellulose—the main component of cotton—help remove fine surface fibers, creating a softer hand and the naturally worn appearance of a garment that has already seen some use.
For the BIO TRUCKER CAP, the cotton whipcord is first sulfur dyed, and the bio-wash is applied after the cap has been fully constructed.
Because the treatment is applied to the finished cap rather than to the fabric before sewing, natural variations develop around areas such as the seams and edges of the brim.
The treatment also affects each cap slightly differently.
Variations in color, fading and overall appearance are therefore part of the character of the product rather than imperfections.
And because the fabric is sulfur dyed, its appearance will continue to change through wear, friction and washing.
The bio-wash isn't the end of the aging process. It's simply the starting point.
This is a cap you can continue to make your own with wear.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.
Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.
Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.
For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
