I want people who pick them up to feel like they've traveled through time. It might sound a bit exaggerated, but with that feeling, our journey begins by setting the destination of our time machine to various eras like 1873 or 1944, and so on...

This time, for the first time in a while, we've set our destination to a 1950s HERCULES painter.

Lately, my sense of era settings has become numb. Am I the only one who feels that chain-stitched waistbands and Camlock Grippers are quite advanced?

I, Inoue, personally love the classic style of pairing them with workwear, but I think these are versatile pants that look great whether you wear them loosely or in a crisp, traditional way.

□ Fabric: 10.4oz. The warp threads are dyed in a medium-white, and the weft threads are top-dyed gray, making for a 2x1 weave structure characteristic of painter's fabric. Top-dyed is a common term in the textile industry, meaning the cotton is dyed at the fiber stage. As a result, even with the same yarn, there are variations in color, and when woven into fabric, this creates a traditional fabric texture with depth.

□ Sizing: The waist size is considerably larger compared to 50's Jeans or S40's denim. For example, the inner waist circumference of Carpenter Pants size 28 is about 80cm, while S40's Jeans size 31 is about 79cm, a difference of nearly 3 inches, so please be aware.

The most accurate way to determine your size is to measure the inner waist circumference of your existing jeans with a tape measure and base your size on that number. The silhouette is quite wide, so I think wearing them a bit larger also looks good.

Personally, I believe the charm of painter pants is that "you can wear them without overthinking it."

With their wide silhouette, large pockets, and rugged details, they possess that workwear quality, yet they also have a surprising versatility that allows them to blend in with jackets and leather shoes.

They have a great vibe even when paired with just a T-shirt, and while chambray or work shirts are a given, I also recommend intentionally pairing them with button-down shirts or loafers.

The waist size is somewhat generous. We have listed the measurements of the inner waist circumference of the arrived products, measured with a tape measure, so please refer to them.

If you wish for hemming, please let us know the inseam measurement when ordering. Please note that cancellations or returns after hemming cannot be accepted, so please instruct us with your understanding.

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
