TCB 30's Jeans C

The fabric is thicker than typical TCB jeans. The silhouette is wide and the back rise is low, so they are recommended for those who like a low-rise look.

It has been changed to Indigo Tab.

[What is C?]
The 1937 vintage used as reference is the 501XXC. What does the "C" mean? It means that it has concealed rivets. What are "concealed rivets"? They are hidden rivets hammered into the base of the back pocket.

Furthermore, the vintage item used as reference does not yet have the special hidden rivets, but instead uses the regular rivets used in other places, with the heads flattened to cover the pockets, so we have also reproduced this.

[Back pocket stitching]
By adopting concealed rivets, the stitching on the back pocket has also been changed from a two-needle parallel stitch to a single-needle stitch that avoids the rivets.

Also, because the shapes of vintage pockets are different on the left and right sides, we created patterns for both the left and right pockets and manufactured them separately.

[Cinch back]
The suspender buttons were discontinued in 1937, but the back cinch remains. The buttons are a secure pin type, so simply stab them in place after purchase. You can also wear them with a belt by threading them under the belt loops.

[Wrapping stitch]
Based on vintage designs, stitching is done at 1/4 inch. The body is high on the right side.

[Crotch rivet]
The crotch rivets that were present until the war are still in place.

[Coin pocket]
The ear of the coin pocket has a single stitch on the edge. Perhaps because there is only one stitch, or because the space between the obi and the coin pocket is narrow, the coin pocket looks large.

[Cloth]
It even reproduces the fact that the fabric behind the front pocket, which should normally be parallel to the obi, is now at an angle.

[Back of thighs]
It is said that wartime models have unfinished seams on the inside of the thighs, and the same is true for the 1937 model.

[Rotate bar]
The early 37 model does not have a latch where the crotch joint overlaps. It seems to be present in the later 37 model. This is a reproduction of the early 37 model, so there is no latch.

[Belt loop]
A durable belt loop made from the same fabric as the main body. The needle width is 5.6cm (7/32 inch), and the belt loop width is 1.5cm. The mid-high specification allows you to enjoy a centered crease.

【button】
These white iron buttons are tin-plated. With use, the plating will peel off and the solid iron will rust and turn brown.

【material】
100% American cotton. Both warp and weft threads are number 6. 14.1 oz.
Personally, it feels a little thicker.
They often use uneven weft yarns, but this time they are using the same yarn, so it is expected to have a spotted pattern rather than a vertical pattern. There is also a lot of weave, so it looks like it will be comfortable to wear.
The vintage weave, which also references the structure of the selvedge, has been reproduced exactly, down to the very last thread.

■Regarding sizing, these jeans have a medium rise and are worn at a normal waist position (between the belly button and hip bones), so the most reliable way to choose your size is to base it on your nude waist and the inner circumference of the jeans.

Because the fabric is unbleached, if you start wearing them in a tighter size, they may take up to 2-3 inches to break in. Furthermore, among all the jeans TCB has released, these have the widest thighs, and the fabric feels quite stiff, giving them a wide, slightly unfashionable look. While they fit just right, I think they also look great when worn 2-3 sizes larger or wider.
