“Cerasus” 70 x 70

“Cerasus” is Latin for cherry. In Japan, there are said to be hundreds—if not thousands—of varieties, and their cultural significance is immeasurable. Songs, festivals, viewing gatherings—the list goes on. The aesthetic value of cherry blossoms is deeply rooted in ideas of beauty, the transience of life and death, and especially the concept of mono no aware—a sensitivity and awareness toward nature, and an appreciation of its fleeting beauty.

While a cherry blossom bandana might seem like a familiar concept, this piece takes a different approach. We collaborated with @alessio_vitelli, a longtime resident of Japan with a distinctive artistic style, to create the illustration. His work felt perfectly suited to reinterpret the idea of a sakura bandana. The design carries a slightly psychedelic touch, yet remains grounded in a traditional bandana layout.

Within its clean composition, subtle details—budding blossoms and falling petals—stand out, expressing the delicate, fleeting emotions associated with cherry blossoms. Rendered in quartz pink and cocoa brown, the palette gives the artwork a natural, refined tone.

This is a versatile piece that can be worn by anyone, across a wide range of styles. We hope you enjoy it.

“Cerasus” Quartz 70 x 70

Cerasus means cherry in Latin. In Japan, there are hundreds, if not thousands, of varieties. Their cultural significance in Japanese culture is immeasurable. Songs, festivals, viewing parties... the list goes on. The aesthetic value of "sakura" is deeply rooted in ideas of beauty, the transience of life and death, and especially the concept of "mono no aware," which is the idea of being sensitive and aware of the surrounding nature and appreciating its beauty.

While a cherry blossom bandana might seem commonplace, this time we had our friend @alessio_vitelli create the illustration. He has lived in Japan for many years and has a very interesting art style. We thought his art style would be a perfect fit for the concept of a cherry blossom bandana. It has a slightly psychedelic style but maintains a traditional bandana layout. Within its simple design, subtle details such as budding flowers and falling petals stand out. These perfectly express the transience of these emotions. Using quartz pink and cocoa brown, the artwork is given a natural hue. We believe this bandana will suit anyone and various fashion styles. We hope you enjoy it.

This is a beautiful pink bandana.

It pairs well with indigo, and is not too assertive, yet not dull.

Please use it as an accent color.

We also sell our original scarf rings that can be used with bandanas.

We will be increasing the variety of both bandanas and scarf rings, so stay tuned!

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
