Previously, I made military pants that were "commonly called M43" with only cargo pockets on the sides.

Changing the subject, when I looked at posts by a vintage clothing enthusiast on Instagram, whom I unilaterally call the "Shirt God," I saw that the M43 in question had front pockets, which it shouldn't have had.
After a long time, I sent a message and he showed me the details of each part.

Was it a test sample? Was it officially delivered? Its origin is unknown. I took the front pocket specification as an idea.

The buttons and fabric are herringbone + tack button specification, in line with the M43 I made previously. The individual I was shown had completely different fabric and buttons.

Instead of a reproduction, I materialized the idea that "it would be convenient if the side-cargo M43 had front pockets." Without back pockets, the pants are lighter. No bulkiness around the hips.

It's a well-balanced specification that made me regret, "Why didn't I think of this myself?"

The OD/Khaki herringbone material is about 9.2-9.5 ounces. After washing, it shrinks slightly to about 10 ounces.
They are similar, but the thread thickness is subtly different. The pattern on the OD is not clearly visible. The Khaki (which looks slightly brownish) has a relatively clear stripe pattern.

The product is one-washed.
