The body is made of extra thick jersey.
The fabric is knitted in the same way as a T-shirt, but by using multiple strands of extra-thick yarn, it has the thickness of a low-gauge sweater. The back of the fabric is brushed to make it even more sweater-like.
I wore it a lot in the winter of 2023. It's really warm. It's casual like a sweatshirt, but has the feel of a sweater.
The ribbing, the number of needles removed, and the more clearly unevenness that appears, the more sweater-like it looks. The more needles removed (the more unevenness there is), the better the stretch, but the weaker the bounce back. Find the right balance by removing the needles.
The Raglan Cotton Sweater has wide sleeves and a loose neckline. The pattern was made with the assumption that a shirt would be worn underneath. The original was a very thick cashmere sweater. I wanted to wear a cotton sweater with that loose silhouette, so I made it.
The product is NW, unwashed. The sample was washed and dried in the sun, shrinking by about 2-3 cm.
The above is an excerpt from the WORKERS website.
This cotton sweater is popular every year. The mock neck gives it a smart look and keeps the wind out of your neck.
It's cotton, so it can be washed easily. It's not very thick, but I think it's best to layer it up with layers of this thickness for the current temperature.
This year, a relatively light burgundy is available, which is unusual. It goes well with indigo. It's a good accent color.
