We have decided to renew our S40's Jacket, which we have been making for 5 years.

The previous approach was to reference vintage styles while making the length slightly shorter and the armholes slightly slimmer, aiming for "ease of wear."

However, over time, as I revisited vintage items, I found myself wanting to create an S40's with the same silhouette.

The new S40's has the same length, width, and sleeve angle as the vintage.

The fabric remains the same, so those who own S40's Jeans can wear them as a set.

Of course, some may say they preferred the previous silhouette, while others might say, "I've been waiting for this!"

In baseball, a home run is 100% a home run in anyone's eyes.

But one of the interesting things about making clothes is that the line between a home run and a strikeout isn't always clear. That's why we believe that continuing to throw what we consider "the best strike ball" is the raison d'être and importance of TCB.

Back in 2012, when we first made the 50's Jeans, I wondered who would buy jeans made by an unknown brand like TCB, but I'm grateful that TCB now receives such requests.

At that time, I was strongly drawn to perfected vintage items like the 506XX and 507XX, but as I reproduced various models, including those from the two L brands, I became more strongly attracted to the charm and historical background found in the imperfection of Simplified models than I was before.

This change within myself led to this long-awaited release.

The fabric is also a new 14oz TCB WW2 special fabric for the S40's. Please refer to the photos for details on each part, including the fabric.

*The T-back specification starts from size 40.

For sizes between 38 and 40 inches, the length setting will also be longer, so if you are considering sizing up, we recommend checking the length.

*The Red Tab specification has been changed, and it is currently indigo-dyed.
