From dock workers' trousers to Cat Worker Pants.

TCB Jeans' Cat Worker Pants are their own interpretation of 1930s Frisco Pants.

The first thing you'll notice is the distinctive, generously opened front pockets.

Known as frogmouth pockets, their wide, rounded openings were designed for work—easy to reach into and practical for quickly grabbing tools or small items on the job.

“Frisco” is an old nickname for San Francisco.

Ports, railroads, cargo and the people who worked around them. With that working-class history behind the original Frisco Pants, TCB took the idea of “Dock Worker” trousers and gave it their own twist: Cat Worker Pants.

The fit is classically workwear-inspired, with a deep rise and plenty of room through the waist and hips. Suspender buttons are also fitted, and we think these would look especially good worn with suspenders instead of a belt.

All three colors—BLACK, OLIVE and BEIGE—are sulfur dyed.

BLACK isn't a deep jet black, but more of a charcoal black. OLIVE is a subdued bottle green, while BEIGE has a slightly warmer, yellowish tone.

They already have a nicely broken-in appearance when new, but the real character will come with wear as the colors fade and puckering develops along the seams.

These aren't trousers that are meant to look their best while they're still pristine.

They're the kind of work pants that should only get better the harder you wear them.

Even if you have no plans to carry a wrench in those frogmouth pockets, we hope you'll put them to work in everyday life.

What is a Frogmouth Pocket?

One of the defining details of the Cat Worker Pants is the large, rounded opening of the front pockets.

Known as a frogmouth pocket, the name comes quite literally from its resemblance to the open mouth of a frog.

Rather than being purely decorative, the shape originated as a practical workwear detail. The wide opening makes it easy to reach inside and quickly grab tools or small items while working.

The fabric itself is an original TCB development inspired by vintage Frisco Pants.

Both the warp and weft use straight No. 7 single yarns blended primarily from high-quality American cotton. The fabric is woven 7/- × 7/- in a 3/1 left-hand twill, giving it a substantial feel while remaining comfortable and easy to break in.

For the finishing process, TCB uses a brushing machine made by Italy's MARIO CROSTA.

Rather than sanding down the surface as with conventional paper raising, the process lifts the fibers through brushing. This creates a fuller, softer hand and a naturally worn-in appearance while retaining the substantial character of the fabric.

The fabric is sulfur dyed, so repeated wear and washing will gradually soften the color while bringing out puckering and wear patterns along the seams.

These trousers should look even better worn than they do new.

That's exactly the kind of aging we want from a proper pair of work pants.

Hemming Service / 裾上げについて

Hemming is available free of charge for pants purchased from our store. We use thread that is as close as possible to the original in color and thickness, and finish the hem using the same sewing method as the original garment: chain stitch for chain-stitched hems and lockstitch for lockstitched hems.
当店でお買い上げいただいたパンツの裾上げは、無料で承っております。できる限り製品のオリジナルに近い色・太さの糸を使用し、もともとの縫製仕様に合わせて、チェーンステッチ仕上げの商品はチェーンステッチ、平縫い仕上げの商品は平縫いにて仕上げます。

If you would like hemming, please measure along the inseam from the crotch seam to the hem and let us know your desired inseam length in centimeters.
裾上げをご希望の場合は、インシーム（股下の縫い合わせ部分）に沿って、股の付け根から裾までの長さを測り、ご希望の股下寸法をcmでお知らせください。

Most of the pants we carry are made from fabrics that have not undergone preshrinking or similar treatments, with an emphasis on preserving the natural character of the fabric and garment. As a result, slight differences between the left and right sides, as well as variations of a few millimeters, may occur due to the characteristics of the fabric, sewing, and washing.
当店で取り扱っているパンツの多くは、防縮加工などを施していない生地や、製品ごとの風合いを大切にした仕様となっております。そのため、生地の特性や縫製・洗いによるわずかな左右差、数ミリ程度の寸法差が生じる場合がございます。

We will finish the hem as closely as possible to your requested measurement; however, we cannot guarantee precision to the millimeter. If you require an extremely precise finished length, we recommend having the alteration performed by a specialist who can measure the garment in person.
できる限りご指定の寸法に沿って加工いたしますが、ミリ単位での厳密な仕上がりを保証するものではございません。非常に細かな寸法精度を必要とされる場合は、実際に商品を確認しながら加工できる専門店等での裾上げをおすすめいたします。

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
