I created these T-strap sandals based on military Gurkha sandals.
Cushions are placed everywhere your feet come into contact with the leather, providing the ultimate comfort.
The design leaves the fingers free so that they can be worn with or without socks.
The buckle is an accent gold color.
It has a hook design so that it can be easily put on and taken off without having to remove the belt.
It hides the parts of your legs you don't want to show, while healthy exposing the parts that bring out your femininity.
While retaining the wildness of the original Gurkha sandals, we have created a design that gives an elegant silhouette to women who suffer from frequent foot problems.
They can be worn from spring to autumn and can be coordinated with a wide range of styles, including shorts, slacks, chinos, and denim.
Material
The upper is made of North American glove leather.
We use glove tanning to avoid breaking down the fibers, and the leather is finished without being overly stretched, so it is less likely to wrinkle, and you can enjoy the leather's natural flexibility and soft feel.
The sole is made of Italian leather, TOSCANO BUFFED.
The upper is made of matte cowhide leather that has been buffed to give it a brushed finish.
Since the oil has been soaked into the fabric, the fibers will become soft and develop a deep luster with use.
Origin
Gurkha sandals were originally shoes worn by the Gurkha mountain troops who served as part of the British colony around the 19th century.
The name "LOTUS" is derived from Lakshmi, the beautiful guardian deity of the mountainous region of Nepal where the Gurkha soldiers live.
Lakshmi's symbol is the red lotus, and she is said to be the goddess of good fortune, representing happiness and prosperity.
