This TCB standard model was created with the aim of reproducing the paper patch of the 1950s Levi's 501XX.

The silhouette is traced from vintage jeans owned by TCB, and the sewing threads are picked out one by one for their count and color.

The fabric used is approximately 13.5oz Zimbabwean cotton. Rather than slub created forcibly by modern computers, it's produced by adjusting traditional spinning machines. The characteristic fading creates thick, short slubs which, when connected naturally, are expected to produce an excellent vertical fade.

It has a deep rise and a relaxed silhouette that tapers slightly towards the hem.

The incision for the hidden rivets reproduces the strongest specification among the many methods available at the time.

All paper patches are handmade. The idea is that when the base color fades, the paper will tear, revealing a darker fabric underneath.

The waistband under the belt loop is chain-stitched all the way to the end without being hemmed. The karakan (thread loop) is intentionally left out rather than tucked in.

The pocket lining of vintage jeans often had rough stitching, so TCB jeans 50's reproduce this to a degree that doesn't compromise strength.

The jeans are sewn with 4 colors of sewing thread and 5 different thread counts. There are many highlights, such as varying the sewing width depending on the location, and adjustments and modifications to the sewing machine.

The red tab has been changed to an indigo tab.

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
