Introducing the DLB-015 NATIVE TOTE from DELUXEWARE.

The main body is made from a beautifully textured wool blanket fabric in gray, featuring a woven Native American-inspired motif in black and reddish brown.

Just one bold motif sits at the center. It's striking without being overpowering, giving the bag a wonderfully understated character.

And the other star of this bag is the leather.

The base is made from custom steerhide produced by Horween, the renowned American tannery with a long history of leather craftsmanship.

The generously rounded handles are secured with carefully stitched and riveted leather attachments.

The bottom is also reinforced with substantial leather, featuring folded corners and rivets reminiscent of traditional tool bags.

Even the edges of the handles are meticulously finished, giving them a smooth, comfortable feel in the hand.

The leather will develop its own character with use, while the wool brings a rustic warmth and texture.

Two very different materials, yet they complement each other beautifully.

The bag has a zippered opening and two interior pockets.

It has a substantial presence, but the size is practical enough for everyday outings or days when you need to carry a little more.

Pair it with jeans and a flannel shirt, a leather jacket, or even a simple knit sweater.

The triple-woven wool blanket fabric is produced in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture, and paired with custom Horween leather.

The bag itself is crafted in Chikuma, Nagano Prefecture, by none other than GROOVER LEATHER, a name many of you will already know.

Only Two Looms in Japan: A Triple-Woven Wool Blanket Made on a Rare Jacquard Loom

One of the most remarkable features of this bag is its original Native American-inspired wool blanket fabric, specially produced in Ichinomiya, Aichi Prefecture.

The Bishu textile region, centered around Ichinomiya, is one of Japan's most celebrated wool textile manufacturing areas.

Drawing on generations of weaving expertise, this fabric is produced on a rare triple-weave jacquard loom, of which only two are said to remain in Japan.

The warp is made from 40/2 two-ply cotton yarn, while the weft uses 2/8 British wool yarn.

The wool combines fibers that retain their natural color with those that have been dyed, creating subtle variations in tone.

These yarns are woven into a three-layer structure, producing a substantial blanket fabric with a distinctive texture and depth.

The Native American-inspired motif isn't printed onto the surface. It's created directly through the weaving process.

Look closely, and you can appreciate the interplay of yarns, colors, and textures that gives the fabric its rich character.

The leather, meanwhile, is custom steerhide produced by Horween, the historic Chicago tannery.

DELUXEWARE describes its beautiful sheen as having a quality reminiscent of cordovan leather.

The bottom of the bag features folded leather construction and rivet reinforcement inspired by traditional tool bags.

These details aren't simply decorative. They reflect the practical, hard-wearing character of a bag designed to be used.

A rare textile from Japan's Bishu region and leather from one of America's most respected tanneries.

Bringing these distinctive materials together in such a natural, balanced way is a wonderful example of DELUXEWARE's approach to craftsmanship.
