If you have coveralls, you can also have work pants. Yes, I personally feel that "work pants" suit me better than "painter pants," so I chose "Work Pants" this time. The design source for these is also Carhartt.

This is a pattern I used to sew myself a lot when I was younger.

The front is in a state where it has a part at the front edge that is called a "continuation of the extension" or "continuation of the endpaper."

Fold the top front here and attach a zipper.

Attach the lining to the extension (lower front) side and sew in the zipper.

At first, I didn't know how far to pull the zipper from the front, so the zipper on the bottom front was showing...

The right pocket is also made differently from the coin pocket on jeans, with the pocket being made by stitching the fabric on the other side.

The back features a hammer loop and tool pocket, giving it a truly "work pants" design.

At first glance, the obi looks similar to the original, with two pieces, but in fact the top is sewn together to make one piece before the obi is attached. This is due to manufacturing restrictions imposed by the factory we use.

In that case, the loops cannot be poured between the obi and at the top like in the original. In the first place, pouring only takes one stitch, and the chain stitch goes over the area where the thickness changes slightly, so it is easy to skip stitches.

In the days of secondhand clothing, the goal was still to "make things quickly and efficiently," but they came up with a clever idea: fasten the top with a bar rivet going up, then lower it and punch out the bottom. This gives the appearance of being sewn in upwards, while also being extremely strong. The feel is simply different from the top and bottom bar rivets. It's simple when you realize it, but it's a well-thought-out design.

The above is reproduced from the WORKERS catalogue.

For those who don't sew, this may seem like a mystery, but Tateno's passion is so strong it's almost burning.

In proportion to this passion, WORKRES work pants are highly finished.

Feel free to use it in your daily life or when working.
