The vintage piece we encountered this time is Levi's 100-year-old No. 1 Cloth Ticket Bib Overalls.

It features a luxurious construction using 12.5oz XX Denim with rivets.

While researching the actual vintage garment, I had the opportunity to read advertisements from that era.It stated the following:

"Having spent 50 years making riveted waist overalls, we have now produced overalls of the same quality. Furthermore, we have used heavy-duty XX Denim and placed rivets on all stress points."

However, looking back at the history of overalls and coveralls that followed from the 30s onward, perhaps the thickness of XX Denim was "too much." Depending on the nature of the work, the rivets might have interfered with certain tasks.

As a result, bar-tacking likely became the mainstream method for reinforcement.

But there is no doubt that it created an "overwhelming fade" that couldn't be achieved with 10oz-class fabrics.

In a sense, it was a "too much" specification. Perhaps that is why it never became a standard.

However, I also think that precisely because the king could not become an absolute presence in the workwear category, diverse and interesting workwear was born from store brands during the 20s and 30s.

Please try experiencing for yourself what "overalls made with XX Denim" were like with TCB's overalls.

The fabric used is TCB's 20's fabric, based on the history of 1920s XX Denim being used at the time.

□ Regarding size: Basically, the waist size is made larger just like other TCB overalls. However, the rise is as deep as if it were designed based on jeans, so the silhouette is not as baggy compared to other TCB overalls.

If you want a fit closer to true-to-size worn at a higher position for a quintessential workwear look, we recommend your usual TCB jeans size.

If you want to wear them baggy and loose with a lower rise for an oversized look, we recommend going up one size.

"12.5oz is light, right?" Spiral customers might think, but overalls are heavy.

Since it's the same fabric as the 20's line, a great fade is guaranteed.

You can enjoy the same kind of fading you see in jeans all over these overalls.

I thought the bib would be wide, but looking at the actual stock, it wasn't so much; my impression is that it's closer to a Boss of the Road style.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
