This product uses 14oz American cotton denim, black both in warp and weft. The warp yarn count is 7, and the weft yarn count is 6. The yarn has a natural unevenness and is dyed black with sulfur pre-dyeing.
Because it is a pre-dyed fabric, repeated wear and washing will result in vertical fading and whiskers. This creates the unique aging characteristic of black denim.
Unsanforized black denim is not widely available, and this product is designed to showcase the distinctive fading characteristics of black denim.

The sizing is the same as the regular Late S40's.
