We have reproduced the legendary denim jacket that existed in the old GARDENER.

The pattern had been lost, so a new one was made for this project. It has been revived using Ueki's new pattern.

The pattern has narrow armholes, wide sleeves, a high collar, and a tightly tapered waist. You can enjoy a unique silhouette that is different from the L company's.

The fabric is of course made in Japan, a 14.5oz 6x6 yarn from Okayama that has been slowly woven with extremely low tension to create a rough red edge selvedge.

Looking at the numbers, it doesn't seem very thick, but it is made from long slub yarn, which gives it a rough, rugged appearance.

The old GARDENER buttons were painted with lacquer, but this time we asked Button Works to make new iron laurel buttons that are completely rusty and do not even have a clear coat. Not only the cover parts, but the whole thing, including the legs, will rust.

We hope you will enjoy using this jacket for a long time and watching it change to take on the texture of a vintage jacket.

All products have been one-washed. They are one-washed with no glue remaining, so you can enjoy the crisp feel without the need for glue.

If you wash it again at home it will become somewhat softer and will become slightly denser overall (up to 1.5cm). The colour will also fade more easily, so please wash it according to your preference.

In the 28 years since its launch in 1997, denim, buttons, and other parts have evolved. Our understanding of vintage items has deepened as we have verified more and more items. Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
