This HENRY model is made from a different leather than the standard VINTAGE CALF model, with a playful stitching color and a leather sole for a classic finish.
The bottom of the sole is engraved with BROTHER BRIDGE.

The design is based on training shoes from the 1920s to 1940s, which were carefully crafted using the Goodyear welt method.
At the time, sports shoes were generally made of canvas, but for sports that required durability, there were also shoes made of leather, which we call athletic boots. With a design featuring many lace holes, the silhouette visible from under the pants was beautiful and tightened the legs.

This time, we went back to the basics and used full vegetable tanned leather, which is made using the traditional pit tanning method that gives the leather thickness and firmness. Pit tanning takes longer than regular tanning, but the changes over time are more pronounced. In addition, the dyeing method uses the technology of Ottocento, a long-established Italian tannery, to achieve a rich color.

The leather used is from the double shoulder, which has unique tiger stripes and blood lines. By incorporating these into the cut, you can fully enjoy the original charm of the leather. It is a little harder than a regular Henley, but it is a leather that is worth cultivating and will change over time. Please enjoy the rich texture of Italian leather.

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
