This is a double V-neck, freedom-sleeve model, a detail found in the earliest sweatshirts of the 1940s. The freedom sleeves, which are uniquely curved from the neck to the underarm, the V-shaped gussets on the front and back necks, the two-needle stitching that makes the stitches puff up, and the binder neck sewn with reverse seams, all stand out with a construction that is the opposite of modern theory.
The above is reprinted from the DELUXEWARE website.
These freedom sweats are made of a sturdy fabric. They're simple in design, but the sewing specifications are luxurious and packed with details, such as flat-seam stitching and double V-gussets.
