The H.W.DOG&CO. D-01173 is a six-panel fisherman's cap inspired by traditional headwear worn by fishermen.

Its most distinctive feature is the absence of a brim. Instead of the usual visor, the cap has a rounded crown and a rolled-up edge that gives it a compact, slightly unconventional silhouette.

The brimless design has its roots in practicality. For fishermen at work, a visor could get in the way, so a simple cap that stayed out of the way made perfect sense.

This version is made from a soft melton fabric consisting of 90% wool and 10% nylon.

With a texture reminiscent of lightweight fleece, the fabric feels soft and cozy, making it a natural choice for autumn and winter.

The crown is constructed from six sewn panels, creating a nicely rounded shape. The rolled edge adds just enough volume to give the cap its own personality without being too bold.

Available in one adjustable size, fitting approximately 56–61 cm. A matching fabric strap and buckle at the back allow you to fine-tune the fit.

We have three colors available: RUST, BEIGE, and BLACK.

RUST is a warm reddish-brown that adds a nice accent to autumn and winter outfits. BEIGE has a softer, lighter appearance, while BLACK is the versatile choice that works with just about anything.

What Is a Fisherman's Cap?

The fisherman's cap has its roots in practical headwear traditionally worn by fishermen.

Unlike a conventional cap, it has no projecting brim.

When working aboard a fishing boat, anything that obstructs your view or gets in the way of your hands and equipment can be a nuisance. A compact, brimless cap offers a practical way to cover the head without unnecessary details.

This distinctive rolled-edge style is also commonly known as a roll cap or docker cap. Today, it has found a place in everyday fashion far beyond its original working environment.

Although it can be worn much like a knit beanie, this particular cap is constructed from six panels of woven fabric rather than knitted material.

The sewn panels give the crown a defined, rounded shape and a distinctive three-dimensional silhouette when worn.

Naturally, it looks great with workwear, but we also like the idea of pairing it with something a little more refined, such as a wool coat.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
