This rare model, produced only occasionally, was released as jeans that could be worn as a set with the reproduced Wrangler jacket worn by John Lennon.
When we visited TCB in Okayama, they were just doing the initial production run.
Several years have passed since then. It's finally being re-released.
The 11.6oz left-hand twill fabric, made with sanforized 9-count warp and 9-count weft yarns, is easy to wear and has a slightly fluffy feel. Although sanforized, it hasn't been singed or skew-processed (to prevent twisting), so it will (amusingly) twist properly.
These jeans were made for cowboys, so they have many unique features: the yoke is reversed to prevent items in the back pockets from falling out, the coin pocket is designed for easy access, the rivets are reversed, and there are many felled seams. They are jeans overflowing with a completely different charm than Levi's.
