We have decided to renew the S40's Jacket, which we have been producing for 5 years.

The previous model was designed to be "easy to wear," drawing inspiration from vintage styles while slightly refining the short length and wide armholes.

However, over time, as I re-engaged with vintage pieces, I found myself wanting to create an S40's with the same silhouette.

The new S40's features the same length, body width, and sleeve angle as the vintage model.

The fabric remains the same, so those who own S40's Jeans can wear them as a matching set.

Of course, some may prefer the previous silhouette, while others might exclaim, "I've been waiting for this!"

In baseball, a home run is unequivocally a home run to everyone.

But one of the interesting aspects of clothing design is that the line between a home run and a strikeout isn't always clear. That's why we believe it's TCB's raison d'être and essential for us to continue throwing what we consider to be the "best strike" in our creations. 

When we first produced the 50's Jeans in 2012, I wondered who would buy jeans made by an unknown brand like TCB. I am grateful that TCB now receives such requests.

At that time, I was strongly attracted to the perfection of vintage models like the 506XX and 507XX. However, as I reproduced various models, including those from the two L companies, I became more drawn to the charm and historical background inherent in the imperfection of Simplified models than ever before.

This change in my own perspective led to this long-awaited release.

The fabric is a new 14oz TCB WW2 special order fabric for the S40's. Please see the photo section for details on the fabric and other features.

*The T-back specification is for sizes 40 inches and above.

Between 38 and 40 inches, the length setting and other aspects become longer, so if you are considering sizing up, we recommend checking the length.

*The Red Tab specification has been changed and is now indigo dyed.
