TCB Jeans Detachable Collar Work Shirt - Beige Stripe 2026

This year too, we're making our detachable shirts for the season.

Originally, it started with the idea of "I want to make a linen shirt that can be worn in summer." But if I were to just make a resort-style linen shirt,
it would have simple specifications,
and I'd ask myself every year,
"Is there any point in TCB making it?"

As a result, I feel that by basing it on an early 1900s work shirt with a detachable collar, which is a bit "overdone," we achieved a balance that is uniquely TCB. It captures the atmosphere from a time when the boundaries between workwear and traditional wear were still ambiguous. Another distinctive feature is the hemline, which has a front-to-back difference that looks beautiful when viewed from the side.

The white is 100% linen.
The beige stripe is 53% cotton, 47% linen.
You might think, "Long sleeves in this season?" but the interesting thing about this shirt is that it surprisingly feels cooler than just a T-shirt under the midsummer sun.

For the past few years, we've continued to produce a small quantity during this season, and thankfully, it has been well-received every year, becoming a summer staple for TCB.

I immediately dressed Kyun in it and planned to take a portrait that looked like it was taken in a rural American photography studio over 100 years ago, but what I ended up with was a photo that looked like an unsuccessful manga artist living in a shabby apartment. Lol. However, I think the shirt turned out with a really great vibe, so I hope you'll enjoy a comfortable summer with this shirt.

We've created an interesting shirt with a detachable collar and asymmetrical "gacha-poke" (random pockets), similar to those made in the 1910s-20s. The collar can be attached and detached with buttons and stud fasteners. When the collar is attached, it can be worn as a round collar; when removed, it becomes a band collar. The left chest pocket opening is large and rounded to easily insert a pocket watch. The buttons are cat's eye buttons, resembling a cat's eye in bright light.

A distinctive feature is the placket, seen in designs from the early 1900s when the distinction between dress and workwear was still ambiguous. At first glance, it appears to be a pullover design, but it's actually a full-open specification. The unique curve of the hem, designed for tucking into pants, now serves as an accent when worn.

■Linen Fabric
This fabric is made from approximately 5.5 oz linen yarns in both warp and weft directions. It features a refreshing coolness due to linen's excellent water absorption, moisture absorption, and breathability. While slubs characteristic of linen yarn are visible in the fabric, I believe this coarse surface texture is also part of the charm of natural linen fabric. *Immature yarns and slub yarns, characteristic of linen, are considered part of its texture.

□Beige Stripe Fabric
A natural-looking material using 16/1 cotton-linen blend for both warp and weft. It's 53% cotton, 47% linen. The navy cotton nep yarn lines, finished with reactive dyeing, serve as an accent, creating a subtle presence. This is an original TCB fabric with a light 5 oz weight, finished to be soft and comfortable to wear.

My honest reaction after the release was, "It got expensive!" but we stocked it due to demand!

When it arrived, the Beige Stripe was completely different from last year's.

Oh my. This is good, isn't it?

The texture is so good, you really should see it in person.

Please forgive the price increase, as the cost of linen yarn has tripled.

This shirt has a detachable collar, and its construction is quite elaborate. It's an inherently labor-intensive design, and thinking about it calmly, perhaps last year's price was just a bargain.
