Inspired by the detection of sulfur in wartime denim, we created a "dark black" denim by adding sulfur black at the end of the pure indigo dyeing process.
The yarn is WORKERS' custom #7, American cotton from EMOT (Eastern Memphis Orleans).

Originally, we only commissioned Kaihara-san for dyeing, but from this time, weaving is also done by Kaihara-san. The selvedge for the pure 100% indigo used in the regular 801 is blue, while this indigo sulfur denim has a red selvedge.

The fabric's thread count is the same as the previous 801 fabric, but the weaving tension is different, resulting in a slightly rougher and stiffer feel than before.

At first, it's so dark you might think it's "black denim?" but the color will definitely fade.
We are currently creating color fade samples, so please wait.

Specifications include four buttons and a buckle. The buttons are laurel wreath and wartime style, but the rivets use WORKERS' engraved ones on both top and bottom, so rather than a specific individual model, the overall atmosphere is inspired by wartime models.

This new fabric denim jacket definitely gives a "black" impression.

The blackness comes from the speculation that sulfur dyes were used during wartime to reduce the number of dyeing passes. I also think this is probably the case. It's romantic, isn't it? These things are fun.

I'm so looking forward to seeing how the color fades.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
