Considering the thread thickness, this shirt, which is twice as thick as UES's standard Deshi cotton & organic jersey, is extremely durable and has a unique texture. The fabric is 9.5oz.
The yarn that characterizes the fabric's texture is made from 30% Australian cotton, with 10% neps and 60% waste cotton added to create a unique slub shape and neps that define the fabric's appearance. The presence of different colored threads attached or mixed into various parts of the fabric is inherent to this yarn, caused by mixing in 60% waste cotton, and is not a defect. The yarn is approximately twice as thick as UES's Ramayana T-shirt, giving it a substantial feel. A long-sleeved version made from the same fabric is also available.
