We have decided to renew the S40's Jacket, which we have been making for the past five years.

The mood at the time was based on vintage styles, but the shorter length and thinner armholes made the garments more "easy to wear."

However, as time passed and I came face to face with vintage items again, I began to want to create S40's with the same silhouette.

The new S40's has the same length, width and sleeve angle as the Vintage.

The fabric remains the same, so if you own S40's Jeans, you can wear them as a set.

Of course, there will be people who say they liked the previous silhouette, and there will also be people who say, "I've been waiting for this!"

In baseball, a home run is 100% a home run no matter who sees it.

However, one of the interesting things about making clothes is that the line between a home run and a strikeout isn't always clear. That's why we believe that TCB's reason for existence is to continue to throw what we consider to be the "best strike ball," and that it's important.

When we made 50's Jeans in 2012, we wondered who would buy jeans made by an unknown company like TCB, but we are grateful that a company like TCB is receiving requests like this.

At the time, I was strongly attracted to the perfected vintage models such as the 506XX and 507XX, but as I continued to reproduce various models, including those from the two L companies, I began to feel even more strongly attracted to the charm and historical background that lies within the imperfections of simplified models.

These are some of the changes I have experienced within myself, and this release is finally upon us.

The fabric is a new 14 oz. item called TCB WW2. It is a special order fabric for the S40's. Please see the photos for details on the fabric.

The length setting will be longer between 38 and 40 inches, so if you are considering going up a size, we recommend checking the length.

*The specifications of the Red Tab have changed and it is now dyed in indigo.
