This is the first release of TCB Jeans' classic "Monkey Pants" in a long time.
The waist is slim, but the silhouette is thick.
These pants are based on the vintage 1940s USMC (USMARINE CORPS) M-44 trousers, commonly known as monkey pants, owned by TCB.
It features a distinctive large rear pocket that was used to store grenades and food, and is designed for use in field combat, with crawling and forward-leaning postures in mind.
The TCB original lacquer buttons engraved with MARINE CORP will gradually lose their color the more you wear them.
Eyelets and chrysanthemum holes on the obi and hem.
The material is a faithful reproduction of the herringbone material developed for the USMC.
The right twill part uses an S twist, while the left twill part uses a Z twist, and by using different twist directions the fabric has a strong contrasting look like that of the time.
It also pairs perfectly with denim jackets, making it a great alternative to jeans.
