Honestly, the color and texture of the fabric
My honest opinion is, "It's a little more spring-like, isn't it?"
Today, I had three young people in my company wear them.

One of them was,
"It looks like a uniform from an American burger shop."
And then he said it quietly.

Actually, I've recently come to think that the appeal of coveralls is that you can choose the material and color to suit your occupation or the occasion.

Restaurants could be one of those "occupations."
That was the timing I was thinking about, so it was a bit what I was aiming for and honestly a happy event.

This coverall was also born to work,
It may be a piece of clothing that is loved and looked good even when you're not working.

The fabric is made from 10.2 oz warp yarn, rope-dyed and raw silk, so the color will gradually fade. When new, it has a cute, vibrant color, but once the color fades, you'll notice it has a nice vintage feel. The weave is plain, so it's like a duck fabric with a fine check pattern. Therefore, it has a sturdier texture than denim, and if you wear some padding underneath, you can wear it even in winter.

Fifteen years ago, in a conversation with a model friend, I said, "TCB wants to create a competition outfit."
(Unfortunately, the link seems to be dead now...)

At that time, I hadn't even started TCBjeans yet.
I think that back then I was thinking, "At TCB, we want to make clothes that will sell because they're cheap, not clothes that will stand the test of time."

To explain a bit more,
To put it simply, it can be interpreted as "clothes that make you popular,"
Just putting it on makes me think, "Okay, let's do our best today!"
It makes me think,
I can't wear it at work,
Clothes that will soothe your tired body at night, even if just for an hour.

That was the meaning behind TCB's "battle uniform."
That feeling still remains deep within me.

Recently, while making coveralls in various shapes and colors,
I feel something again.

Of course, practicality is key when it comes to workwear.
The fabric is strong, stain-resistant, and long-lasting.
But what TCB wants to create is
It's not a "jacket for hard work",
This is clothing that will lift your spirits the moment you put it on.

A place where workers can think, "Let's do it again today!"
Something that gives you that crew feeling.

The reason TCB created the Black Cat JK is
It's not just a "new coverall."
We wanted to create a uniform that would turn on the workers' switch.

Restaurant uniforms, factory work clothes...
This is a piece of clothing that serves as a ``tool'' to calm the mind of the person who wears it every day.

If someday,
TCB coveralls have become uniforms at restaurants,
It became a factory uniform,
I hope that one day it will serve as a testament to a small crew in a town somewhere...
I think that is the most satisfying moment for the brand.

This jacket was inspired by the 1920s Black Bear Chore Jacket. I never imagined it would turn out like this back then, but now TCB and Black Bear have collaborated on a project together. Our CEO, Josh, also liked it and thought it was a nice jacket.

The elaborate left chest pocket, a feature unique to pre-war coveralls, is one of the reasons I'm fascinated by coveralls. The Black Cat model features a unique "rolled pocket" with a black bear motif, which is its biggest feature and my favorite feature. The raglan sleeves also allow for smooth arm movement.
