Teapot 50x50 cm Navy

Camel brand was a now defunct bandanna brand that was a sub-brand of the Elephant brand. During the 1930s-1940's there were a small rare set of these bandannas made with a camel logo. They are prized and regarded by fast-color bandanna collectors. They are usually small and feature floral or very simple designs. We have resurrected this brand from the depths of obscurity and given it a new high-quality twist. Featuring our original 50x50 cm selvedge fabric, these are printed as carefully and thoughtfully as our mainline. Even though we normally don't do small bandannas we have decided to reproduce these old rare designs for people to enjoy again. In addition to the bandanna designs we have created what we feel, as a thoughtful reproduction of the camel brand sticker which there seems to be no actual print of. We have plenty of evidence but no absolute proof. So we asked our friend Satoshi Kaga, to draw an original reproduction. We feel this is the best representation of the original. These will be branded in two options in the future as "red camel" and "blue camel". Produced and designed by One Ear Brand.

The Camel brand was a now-defunct bandana line that once existed as a sub-brand of the Elephant brand. During the 1930s and 40s, a small number of rare bandanas with a camel logo were produced, and they are now highly valued among fast-color bandana collectors. They are slightly smaller in size and feature floral or simple designs.

We have now resurrected this brand from obscurity and revived it with modern quality. Using our original 50x50cm selvedge fabric, these are printed with the same careful process as our mainline. Although we don't usually make small bandanas, we decided to specially reproduce these rare vintage designs so that people can enjoy them again.

In addition to the bandanas, we have also reproduced the Camel brand sticker. While no existing definitive prints have been found, we have reconstructed the atmosphere of the time as faithfully as possible based on various materials. For this reproduction, we asked our friend Satoshi Kaga to draw an original interpretation. We believe this has resulted in the most satisfying representation.

Spiral Comment

This is a piece that vintage bandana lovers will surely react to.

It is based on the "Camel Brand" that existed in the 1930s-40s, but it is not just a复刻; it has been revived with One Ear Brand's unique interpretation.

The slightly smaller size of 50x50cm makes it easy to wrap around the neck and is also a convenient size for use as a pocket square or as an accent for a bag.

Because of its simple pattern, it goes perfectly with denim and workwear.

"Perhaps there was such a bandana in the past."

This is a playful piece by One Ear Brand that allows you to enjoy the story behind it.

💡 Spiral Note

What is Camel Brand?

It is a sub-brand of Elephant Brand that is believed to have existed around 1940.

Very few exist, and bandanas with the camel logo are known as rarities even among collectors of vintage fast-color bandanas.

Only limited documentation remains, and most advertisements and labels from that time are no longer extant.

One Ear Brand has now reconstructed the brand based on that limited documentation, respecting the atmosphere of the time, from the perspective of "what if it had continued to this day."
