A very rare oxford (duck) rayon fabric made on an old loom in Nishiwaki, Hyogo. A special material made by twisting two strands of regular rayon together for the warp thread and weaving filament rayon for the weft. A very rare fabric that combines a semi-dull luster, a firm texture, the drape characteristic of rayon, and a crisp feel to the touch.
Message from the organizer
Even in the world of apparel, which may seem like a saturated industry, there are still many things that remain unexplored. Textiles are one of the pioneering jobs that can only be taken on in this day and age. Not only is the development of new chemical fibers such as carbon materials and temperature regulating materials pioneering in recent years, but the expansion of the use of equipment (looms and knitting machines) is also expanding the possibilities of traditional materials (cotton, rayon, wool, etc.). It would be a shame if only the planners and developers shared the excitement at the moment when an old and new material inherited from the vintage era was born. I would love to share and enjoy such moments together.

It's a rayon shirt, so you'd be mistaken if you thought it was lightweight and soft. It's heavy because it's made with a lot of thread, but it's refreshing to wear. It absorbs sweat well, so you can wear it as much as you like.
