The newsboy cap originated in the 1930s during the Great Depression in the United States, when children who delivered newspapers wore them.

The body is made of 14-wale corduroy fabric.
14-wale corduroy is slightly thicker than fine-wale corduroy and is characterized by its moderate firmness.

The unique luster and soft color tone that can be felt from the characteristic fuzz, and the texture of the fabric are attractive. Corduroy is excellent in heat retention and moisture absorption because air is stored in these uneven surfaces.

The design features an adjustable size tape on the inside, and is available in 3 sizes with adjustable functionality.
