The old-style loopwheel knitting machine originally produces fluffy fleece fabric, much like hand-knitting. While customizing and devising this machine can achieve various textures, this S300 series is knitted as the "thinnest loopwheeled fleece," pushing the limits of the old-style loopwheel knitting machine. The goal was to create a loopwheeled fleece as versatile as plain jersey. Its warmth, comparable to thermal wear, and its versatility, like jersey, make it perfect as an inner layer for leather jackets. It features a mock neck design so the collar does not rub against the skin.

Material and Origin

● Material description: Thinnest loopwheeled fleece, unbrushed
This thinnest fleece knit fabric is created from an Azuma knitting machine, an old-style knitting machine. It produces only 12m (enough for 7 garments) per day, making it very inefficient, but it has a unique texture that is difficult to achieve with other knitting machines.

DELUXEWARE S300 Mock Neck Sweatshirt

"A sweatshirt to wear under a leather jacket."

This is DELUXEWARE's thinnest loopwheeled fleece series, fulfilling a wish for something that seems unlikely but would be great to have.

Knitted to its thinnest possible limit on an old-style Azuma knitting machine, this loopwheeled fleece has the lightness of a long-sleeve T-shirt. Yet, its loopwheeled structure traps air, providing warmth comparable to thermal wear.

Even with leather jackets or denim jackets, which can feel restrictive with thick sweatshirts around the arms, this single piece allows for comfortable wear without stress.

Furthermore, the mock neck design ensures the collar doesn't touch the skin directly and enhances warmth.

Though seemingly simple, this piece condenses DELUXEWARE's signature craftsmanship, including the old-style Azuma knitting machine, in-house factory sewing, and tailoring with vintage sewing machines.

This is a highly versatile sweatshirt that can be comfortably worn alone not only in winter but also in spring and autumn.
