Lot 802 has a slightly narrower hem and a tapered silhouette that gives it a modern, clean look.
This denim is made using American Apland cotton both vertically and horizontally.
I started making jeans simply thinking, "Basic jeans are denim woven with thread made only from American cotton!", but I couldn't find the standard 100% American cotton thread! So I decided to make it from scratch! (Although I could make a huge amount of it)
Apland cotton is a very basic cotton. We import it to Japan and scan the uneven thread shapes found in vintage jeans to determine the thread shape. We also control the unevenness so that it is not too strong.
The finished yarn is rope dyed. It is pure indigo dyed without base dyeing or piece dyeing. The color this time is characterized by relatively little red and a strong blue.
Furthermore, the fabric is woven on a power loom with selvedge. Low tension weaving creates a fluffy texture, preserving the inherent character of the yarn and the cotton. The finished fabric is Kibata denim, which is not treated with shrink-proofing or singed to remove fuzz. It is characterized by shrinking and twisting when washed. However, before shipping, it is washed once and dried to shrink as much as possible before being sent out.
The above is reprinted from the WORKERS official website.
These jeans have a clean tapered silhouette, a strong blue hue, and an elegant uneven texture, making them easy to match with neat styles, such as an Ivy League style paired with a jacket.
There is ample room around the hips and the hem is very narrow, so this is recommended for customers who have volume in the hips or thighs from sports and are worried that the waist will be too loose or that they cannot wear slimmer pants.
*The pants are quite slim from the knee down, so please be careful if you have thick calves.
I'm sure there are many people who love this 802 silhouette, but unfortunately, it will be discontinued after this release.
It's not that it's unpopular, but there is now a three-year waiting list for fabric production, and they can only produce the 801 at best.
This is the last shipment, so we are preparing as many as possible, but once they are sold out, there will be no more. *We may be able to restock once fabric production returns to normal, but it will probably not be for the next three years.
Whether you love them or have never worn them before, this is your chance.
