“Jomon” 50 × 50 cm Red

The Camel Brand was a now-defunct bandana label that originally existed as a sub-brand of Elephant Brand. During the 1930s and 1940s, a small number of rare bandanas featuring the camel logo were produced. Today, they are highly regarded among Fast Color bandana collectors. These bandanas were typically smaller in size and featured floral or simple graphic designs.

We have revived this long-forgotten brand with a new high-quality twist. Using our original 50 × 50 cm selvedge fabric, each piece is carefully printed with the same attention to detail as our main line. Although we do not usually produce smaller-sized bandanas, we wanted to recreate these rare vintage designs so they could once again be enjoyed today.

In addition to the bandana designs themselves, we have faithfully reproduced the Camel Brand sticker. It appears that the sticker may never have actually been printed originally. While there is plenty of supporting evidence, there is no absolute proof. For this reason, we asked our friend, artist Satoshi Kaga, to create a reproduction painting based on the original. We feel this version is the closest possible recreation of the authentic design.

The collection will be released in two variations: “Red Camel” and “Blue Camel.”

We have started handling the "One Ear Brand" bandana brand!

The Camel Brand is a复刻 (reproduction) of an existing bandana brand with a unique twist from "One Ear Brand". I know the Elephant Brand, but I didn't know there was a brand with a camel motif.

Even when I go to vintage stores, I only see paisley patterns around the register... and if it's a slightly different pattern, it's new.

To be able to get a new item with a print that has the same vintage feel and with selvage edges. Thank you One Ear Brand. Thank you, Jonathan.

50x50 is also the most compatible size for scarf rings using SpiralDance's 25-cent rings.

It's a simple but slightly unusual "Jomon" pattern. The slight bleeding of the print gives it a very nice atmosphere.
