Merry Gen Shoes "TIGE"

The name "Merry Jane Shoes" comes from the strap shoes worn by Mary Jane, the younger sister of the main character in the American comic "Buster Brown." The shoes were a huge hit and have become a standard design that is now known by the name "Merry Jane."

"TIGE" is named after TIGE, a talking dog that appears in the same cartoon. The Merry Gen shoes, which have been loved throughout their long history, have been given a special story to add to them. TIGE is a pair of shoes that will remain appealing for all time.

While highlighting the cool charm unique to La Poche,
A slightly rounded square toe wooden last is used,
We have taken advantage of the elegance that is unique to Merry Gen shoes.
The straps that firmly support the instep of the foot provide stability and a comfortable fit.
The straps are designed with hooks for easy on and off.
We also took practicality into consideration.
Another key point is that the shoes are designed to be slightly wide so that they can be easily worn with socks.

In addition to the same BLACK CALF as the previous model, we also have a new CLASSIC SILVER available. The elegant shine of the silver makes this a great accent piece for any outfit.

Based on customer feedback, we will now be expanding the range to include US sizes 4.

The design is held in place by a strap, but some people found the square toe to be a little large, so we increased the size variations to fit a wider range of people. We also used generous amounts of cushioning to improve comfort.

*For Tencho, US4.5 is just right. US4 also fits, but it seems too tight with thick socks. Kate (Lizard) from the same LA POCHE is size 5, but it was just right and so tight I almost cried at first. Matilda and Anne are just right in size 5. Please use this as a reference when choosing your size.
