The 807 is Workers' second type of denim, with a vertical and horizontal count of 7.
The shoulders are narrow and the armholes are rounded. The sleeve top is higher than the 806XH, and the sleeves are narrow. When laid flat, there is an angle from the shoulder slope line to the sleeve. The length is also adjusted to 62-3 cm in size 38. There is no needle cinch for waist adjustment, and it is adjusted with a button + tab at the waistband. As a piece of clothing, it can be worn as daily wear without any worries. In short, it is an ordinary blouson.
This denim is made using American Apland cotton both vertically and horizontally.
I started making jeans simply thinking, "Basic jeans are denim woven with threads made only from American cotton!", but I couldn't find the standard threads made from 100% American cotton! So I decided to make them from scratch! (It produces a huge amount of them)
Apland cotton is a very basic cotton. It is imported to Japan and the shape of the thread is determined by scanning the uneven thread shape seen in vintage jeans. This is also controlled so that the unevenness is not too strong.
The finished yarn is rope dyed. It is pure indigo dyed without under-dyeing or piece-dyeing. The color is characterized by relatively little red and strong blue. Furthermore, the fabric is woven on a power loom with selvedge. Weaving at low tension gives it a fluffy texture and prevents the original character of the yarn and cotton from being erased. The finished fabric is Kibata denim that is not shrink-proofed or singed to remove fuzz. It is characterized by shrinking and twisting when washed.
Before shipping, the item is washed and dried in a dryer to shrink it as much as possible.

It's quite strange to make it from thread. I remember someone in a non-denim textile industry saying, "It's strange that denim has so many different product numbers even though it doesn't have any patterns," but it's because there are people who make it from the yarn onwards. They look the same, but they're all different. They're obviously different, but they're all the same. It's interesting.
I personally think that it is best to choose a denim jacket that fits your body well and is comfortable to wear. There are so many factors to consider, such as specs, appearance, silhouette, brand image, etc., so choosing a denim jacket that suits you perfectly is a deep and fun experience.
