DELUXEWARE “S107-00 LOOP BACK.”

Made from substantial 18oz loopback fabric with a slightly relaxed silhouette, this is a simple crewneck with the classic look of an old-school sweatshirt.

And the best part this time is definitely the unbrushed loopback interior. We’ve had many customers asking for this, and this season, it’s finally here.

The loops on the reverse are left unbrushed, so it doesn’t retain as much warmth as brushed fleece, making it much easier to wear across a longer season, from early autumn through spring.

The fabric is 18oz 100% cotton sinker-knit loopback, knitted in Wakayama.

As you can see in the photos, it has plenty of density and substance, while still retaining the softness you expect from loopback fabric.

Another distinctive feature is the extra-long ribbing at the cuffs and hem.

The wide hem rib in particular brings the waist in neatly, creating a rounded silhouette through the relaxed body.

Sewing is handled at DELUXEWARE’s own factory in Odate, Akita, using machinery that includes a 1950s UNION SPECIAL FLAT SEAMER.

No prints. No pockets. Just a genuinely simple sweatshirt.

And that simplicity makes the quality of the fabric and silhouette stand out even more.

Wear it on its own or under a jacket.
In the end, it’s these simple sweatshirts that get worn the most.

A version with small accents on the chest and sleeve has also arrived.

What’s the difference between loopback and brushed fleece?

The S107-00 uses unbrushed loopback fabric.

Turn a sweatshirt inside out and you’ll see small loops of yarn across the reverse side.

That is loopback.

When those loops are left intact, the fabric remains loopback. When the reverse is brushed to raise the fibers and create a soft, fluffy surface, it becomes what is commonly known as brushed fleece.

Brushed fleece traps more air and provides greater warmth. Loopback, on the other hand, tends to retain less heat, making it easier to wear across changing temperatures and a wider range of seasons.

The S107-00 has a substantial 18oz weight, but the loops on the reverse remain unbrushed.

It has the satisfying substance of a heavyweight sweatshirt while remaining more versatile across the seasons than a brushed-fleece version.

Size Comparison

Compared with the actual measurements of our currently listed DELUXEWARE standard S101-00 NATURAL, the newly arrived S107-00 Heather Grey has a more relaxed overall fit.

The shoulder width is approximately 1.0–2.5 cm wider, while the chest width is approximately 0–3.0 cm wider.

The body length is almost the same, while the sleeves are approximately 0.5–2.2 cm longer.

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
